Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle and Environmental Awareness within the “Clean Kazakhstan” Campaign

On November 1, 2025, second-year students of group 208 from the Department of Customs, Financial, and Environmental Law of the Faculty of Law at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University actively took part in the national campaign “Clean Kazakhstan”, organized within the framework of the UN SDG No. 3 — “Good Health and Well-Being.” The event was held with the support of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Almaty City Prosecutor’s Office, and the Almaty City Akimat.

The campaign took place in the Alma-Arasan area of the Ile-Alatau National Park. Participants engaged in cleaning the territory, collecting household waste, and improving natural areas, contributing to the preservation of ecosystems and the promotion of environmental awareness among youth.

The students were guided and supported by the Head of the Department, Professor G.A. Kuanaliyeva, and lecturers M. Kurmanzhan, K.A. Bakhmanova, and I.K. Shapkhatova. The students demonstrated great enthusiasm, teamwork, and a strong sense of responsibility toward environmental protection.
