Meeting Aimed at Increasing Students’ Interest in the Legal Profession

On October 29, 2025, 30 school students visited the Faculty of Law together with representatives of the Department of Public Development of the Zhetysu Region and members of the “Ethics and Law Mentorship” project.

The guests were introduced to the faculty’s structure, educational process, and students’ research activities.

During the event, the Head of the Department of Customs, Financial, and Environmental Law, Doctor of Law, Professor G.A. Kuanaliyeva, provided information about the department’s main areas of activity, scientific achievements, and academic programs. In addition, the department’s faculty members explained the specifics of legal professions and conducted a career guidance session for the students.

The meeting was held in a warm and informative atmosphere, increasing the students’ interest and motivation in choosing their future profession.
