12 november, 2025

On November 12, 2025, faculty members and students of the Faculty of International Relations, the Faculty of Philology, and the Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University jointly visited the Gabit Musrepov State Academic Theatre for Children and Youth. The event was organized with the aim of strengthening cultural and spiritual values, fostering students’ interest in the arts, and promoting national culture and creativity.

During the visit, the participants enjoyed one of the most renowned works of Kazakh drama — «Apke» (The Elder Sister) by the prominent writer and playwright Dulat Isabekov. The play, which explores the themes of family values, compassion, brotherhood, and humanity, deeply moved the audience and left a lasting impression.

The theatre evening became a source of inspiration and spiritual enrichment for both students and faculty members. Attendees highly appreciated the professionalism of the actors, the emotional depth of their performance, and the meaningful message of the play. After the performance, students shared their impressions, noting that such cultural events help broaden their horizons, nurture aesthetic taste, and enhance personal development.

Such initiatives play an important role in strengthening spiritual and moral values, promoting national art among youth, and fostering cooperation and friendship among different faculties of the university.
