Educational seminar titled «Law and Order in the New Kazakhstan»

Within the framework of the “Law and Order” project in Kazakhstan, a series of initiatives are being carried out aimed at launching digital services for citizens and entrepreneurs, conducting educational activities, and strengthening cooperation between law enforcement agencies and society. The main goal of the project is to foster zero tolerance toward legal violations and to enhance the legal literacy of the population.
In this regard, the Faculty of Law is holding events aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 4, 16, and 17, focusing on improving the legal awareness and culture of students. On November 13, 2025, an educational seminar titled “Law and Order in the New Kazakhstan” was held for law faculty graduates, organized in partnership with the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The speakers of the event were Rashida Tursunovna Kadyrova, Head of the Department of Cybersecurity and Information Technology at the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Yesbulatov, Police Lieutenant Colonel, and Yerzhan Sarsenovich Savdabayev, Police Captain and Senior Lecturer of the same department. They conducted a master class on cybersecurity, presented new types of cyber offenses in Kazakhstan, and discussed modern methods of protecting the population.The event also included participation from adjuncts of the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The event was organized by Doctor of Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, N.K. Kalysheva, with support from members of the scientific community “Fair Law” — B. Zhakitov, A. Kuandykov, and S. Aresimova. The newly launched digital service “Law and Order” is designed to strengthen citizens’ legal awareness and promote a healthy lifestyle.
