About us
The Center for the Commercialization of Technologies and Creative Industries was established as a structural subdivision of the Non-Profit Joint Stock Company Al-Farabi Kazakh National University by Decision No. 5 of the Board of Directors dated September 15, 2021.
The Center was created to effectively promote scientific developments and innovative ideas within the commercial environment. The main objectives of the Center include supporting entrepreneurs and researchers at all stages of the innovation cycle — from the generation of an idea to the introduction of a finished product to the market.
Key areas of activity:
1. Support for startups and innovative projects:
The Center provides assistance in developing business plans, conducting marketing research, and attracting investments.
2. Technology transfer:
The Center facilitates the search for partners for licensing and transferring scientific developments to enterprises and other interested stakeholders.
3. Development of creative industries:
The Center supports creative projects related to design, media, art, culture, and digital technologies. This contributes to the creation of new jobs and stimulates economic growth within the creative sector.
4. Educational programs and trainings:
Seminars and master classes are held on a regular basis to enhance the competencies of researchers and entrepreneurs in the fields of commercialization and innovation management.

The Center actively develops partnerships with foreign universities, research institutions, and innovative companies to exchange experience and attract advanced technologies.
