3rd year students of the Finance Faculty visited the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On November 15, 2025, third-year students of the “Finance” educational program at the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in an educational excursion to the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The trip was accompanied by the group curator — A.S. Kyzdarbekova.

The event was organized to promote the historical sites of Almaty city and to broaden the cultural outlook of the students. The museum visit was part of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 4 – “Quality Education”, aimed at developing cultural, historical, and professional competencies of students; SDG 11 – “Sustainable Cities and Communities”, which highlights the importance of preserving cultural heritage for the harmonious development of society.

The visit contributed to deepening students’ understanding of national identity, strengthening their interest in the country’s history, and enhancing the cultural literacy of future finance professionals.
