The “ZhasTour” team is participating in the international olympiad

From November 19 to 22, 2025, in the city of Astana, the VIII International Olympiad among students majoring in “Tourism” in the technique and tactics of active tourism is being held under the organization of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

The “ZhasTour” team from the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management is participating in this Olympiad, showcasing their skills. So far, the first three stages of the Olympiad have taken place: a video on the topic “Our University – a Center of Opportunities,” the defense of project assignments on the development of children’s and youth tourism, and a qualification test in sports orienteering.

In the following days, students will participate in competitions in the technique and tactics of active tourism in a tourist all-around format, in both “pair” and “team” events.
