7 november, 2025

On November 7, 2025, at the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University an open educational session was held as part of the research practice on the topic “Religious Tolerance on Social Networks.” The session was conducted by 2nd-year Master's student Omarkozha Kenzheev with 2nd-year undergraduate students majoring in Religious Studies.

During the session, the reasons, key stages, and historical lessons of the decline in religious tolerance on social networks among the younger generation were discussed. In addition, the importance of religious tolerance for Kazakh society, as well as issues of unity and resilience of the people during the years of war, were widely examined. Students exchanged views based on historical data and memories, delving deeply into religious tolerance and social values.

At the end of the open educational session on “Religious Tolerance on Social Networks,” I also shared my thoughts, emphasizing the significance and relevance of the session. The young practitioner’s first steps in educational work and the students’ eagerness for knowledge received high praise from the faculty members of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies.
