On November 19, 2025, within the framework of SDG 4 “Quality Education, the second-year students and master’s students of the “Kazakh Philology” major at the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, as well as the faculty members of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory — Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor S. Kalkabayeva and PhD Dr. G. Ospanova — met with the poet, writer, journalist, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, laureate of the International Literary Award “ALASH,” and recipient of the Order of “Parasat,” Saule Magazbekkyzy Doszhan.
During the meeting, the novels “Qasiret pen Tagdyr” (“Sorrow and Fate”) and “Üzilmegen Ümit” (“Unbroken Hope”) were analyzed, excerpts were read, and opinions were shared. The writer expressed her admiration for the passages read by the students and master’s students, as well as for their personal reflections. She sincerely answered their questions and offered valuable advice.
The creative meeting was very engaging. The students also expressed their appreciation and positive impressions.
