A seminar dedicated to Professor Minal Dinahan was held
A scientific seminar dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the outstanding scientist, Professor Minal Dineikhan, the founder of the scientific school in the field of theoretical and nuclear physics, a teacher and mentor who educated more than one generation of researchers, was held at the Faculty of Physics and Technology of al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The event began with the grand opening of the memorial exposition in memory of the professor. The exposition presented the main stages of his scientific career, works and contribution to the development of Kazakh physics.
The seminar was attended by representatives of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the INP of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, NCGNTE JSC, the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna, Russia), the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, as well as the Faculty of Physics and Technology.
Erkin Duisenov, Member of the Board and First Vice–Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He noted the merits of Professor Minal Dineikhan, who is "one of the key figures of Kazakhstan's theoretical physics, a scientist recognized in the international scientific community, whose ideas and research continue to determine the directions of modern scientific projects in Kazakhstan, Mongolia and international scientific centers" and wished the seminar fruitful work.
На мероприятии также выступили руководители и ведущие ученые Казахстана, Монголии и России: генеральный директор ИЯФ ААЭ РК Саябек Сахиев, вице-президент Национальной академии наук Казахстана Дидар Батрышев, вице-президент АО «НЦГНТЭ» Рустем Манатбаев, профессор ИЯФ ААЭ РК Насурллы Буртебаев, академик Монгольской академии наук Делеаг Сангаа и другие. Они подчеркнули выдающуюся роль профессора Минала Динейхана в развитии отечественной теоретической физики, его международный авторитет и уникальный вклад в формирование научной школы, продолжающей сегодня его идеи и подходы.
