Joint projects with OFM Antalya clinic will be implemented

Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with Turgay Birsez, founder and CEO of OFM Antalya Private Hospital in Turkiye.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of developing cooperation in the field of medicine and expanding opportunities for the exchange of clinical experience for students and young researchers.

As a result of the bilateral negotiations, KazNU and OFM Antalya Hospital signed a memorandum of mutual partnership. The document will allow university students to complete internships at Turkiye's leading medical center, upgrade the qualifications of the teaching staff, and implement joint research projects in the field of medicine.

Zhanseit Tuimebayev noted the importance of strengthening partnership with OFM Antalya Medical Hospital for KazNU. The rector also noted that a new university polyclinic will be built as part of the II KazNU campus development plan.

Turgay Birsez, in turn, expressed interest in partnering with KazNU. He noted that he highly appreciates the academic and scientific potential of the university and is ready to implement joint projects in the future.
