On November 22, 2025, the conference "Climate Action” as a part of the university project to collaborate with and achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals was held under the guidance of the Foreign Languages Department faculty members A. Dzhanuzakova and A. Shayahmet.

At the English-speaking event, C1 level students A. Nakypbek, A. Zhantore, Z. Kadyrbay, D. Aydarov, A. Babenova, Z. Kadirzhan, M. Asiltai, A. Erlankyzy, U. Mamedova, and others enthusiastically discussed the interactive presentation "The Climate Change Denier" by Nick Peachey, a renowned digital guru, author of the "Technical Tools for Teachers" series, and author of Peachey's publications. B2 level students Aripzhan Bagzhan, Huang You Zhou, Adilbek Talant, and Amantay Akarys from the People's Republic of China presented their own presentations. All first-year students watched several British Council videos and shared their thoughts on the topic. Participants brought their own handmade posters dedicated to UN Sustainable Development Goal 13 and displayed them demonstrating their support.
