The Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence hosted the “National Costume – the Mirror of the Nation” week.

Kazakh national costume is a centuries-old cultural heritage and an integral part of our spiritual wealth. It is not just a functional attire but also reflects the history, traditions, worldview, and aesthetic taste of the people.

From November 10 to 15, the faculty organized the “National Costume – the Mirror of the Nation” week in support of the national challenge. The main goal was to introduce students, especially international students, to the history of Kazakh national costumes, their unique features, and the deep meaning of the patterns.

During the week, students not only got acquainted with national costumes but also felt the hidden spiritual values in each detail, understanding the depth of ancestral heritage. Faculty members noted that the initiative increased students’ interest in national values and strengthened spiritual education.
Under the slogan “Honor the heritage of our ancestors and raise the national spirit together!”, the week reinforced love for cultural heritage and encouraged students to respect it and pass it on to future generations.
