KazNU signed a memorandum on the training of UAV pilots

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Aerial Solutions/Drone Pilot Academy have signed a strategic memorandum. The document opens up a new area of cooperation in the field of unmanned aircraft and geoinformatics.

The signing of the memorandum became an important stage in the development of cooperation. The university and the production partner combine the opportunities of education, science and the real sector. The cooperation is based on international training standards and practical tasks of the industry.

Students will be able to practice at the partner's site. They will work with modern drone technologies. Students will also acquire skills in the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in ecology, agriculture and geographic information systems.

The main value of the agreement is the combination of theory and practice. Collaboration will enhance students' practical skills. Elements of real production will be added to educational programs. Scientific and design projects will be developed. Professional standards of UAV operators and engineers will be included in the training of specialists.

This approach forms a new learning system. It trains highly qualified specialists for the digital economy and the field of remote sensing.
