Scientific Seminar Dedicated to the 75th Anniversary of Professor Minal Dineikhan Held at the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al-Farabi KazNU

On 21 November 2025, the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a scientific seminar dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the outstanding scholar, Professor Minal Dineikhan — the founder of a scientific school in theoretical and nuclear physics, an educator, and a mentor who trained several generations of researchers.

The event opened with the inauguration of a memorial exhibition dedicated to the life and scientific achievements of the professor. The exhibition presented the main stages of his academic career, his scholarly works, and his contribution to the development of Kazakhstani physics, serving as an important reminder of his remarkable legacy. The seminar was moderated by the Dean of the Faculty, Nurzada Beissen.

The seminar brought together more than 20 distinguished guests — representatives of Al-Farabi KazNU, the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC “NCSTE,” the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna, Russia), the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, as well as faculty members of the Physics and Technology Faculty.
