Guest Lecture on the Discipline “Tax Administration” for Students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National Universit

At the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, guest lectures in the discipline “Tax Administration” are being held from 1 to 30 November 2025. The lectures are delivered by an invited lecturer from Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University within the framework of the cooperation memorandum on academic mobility in an online (distance-learning) format.

The lectures are conducted by Tamara Sabirovna Imaralieva, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Banking and Taxation of the Higher School of Economics of J. Balasagyn KNU. She introduced students to modern approaches to tax administration, the specifics of the tax policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as a comparative analysis of tax procedures in Central Asian countries. Special attention is given to the digitalization of tax control, improving the efficiency of tax administration, and international practices in the field of tax compliance.

Fourth-year students of the “Finance” educational program show a high level of interest in the topic, actively participate in discussions, and have the opportunity to ask questions about the prospects for the development of the tax system under conditions of global economic transformation.

Such events contribute to broadening the professional horizons of students and strengthening international academic cooperation between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and J. Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University.
