MENTORING EXCELLENCE IS A GUIDING STAR FOR YOUNG SCIENTISTS
Linguist Suiyerkul Botagoz Myrzabaikyzy held a scientific and methodological seminar.
On November 14, 2025, at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Oriental Studies, a dense and highly effective scientific-methodological seminar was held under the organization of Doctor of Philological Sciences Suyerkul Botagoz Myrzabaikyzy, an associate professor-researcher of the Department of Turkology and the History of Eastern Countries. The seminar focused on “Common Errors in Writing and Formatting Dissertations.”
The event was attended by young researchers, doctoral students, and experienced faculty members. The content, format, and level of discussion made a strong impression on the doctoral students. They were carefully taught from the proper choice of dissertation topics, gathering materials, working effectively with sources, conducting research, applying scientific writing styles, to formatting the work and specific methods for avoiding typical mistakes.
