The Military Department held a patriotic lecture

Students of the military department of al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a lecture hall "The Path to independence" for high school students of secondary school №155 of the Auezovsky district of Almaty. The event was dedicated to the upcoming state holiday – Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As part of the lecture, interactive presentations were presented to the students, revealing the key stages of the formation of Kazakhstan's statehood: from the period of the Kazakh Khanate to the present. A separate section was devoted to Kazakhstan's contribution to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, as well as the role of the first Minister of Defense of independent Kazakhstan, Hero of the Soviet Union, Halyk Kaharmany, Army General Sagadat Nurmagambetov in the formation of the national armed forces.

The students took part in the competitive quiz with great interest, testing their knowledge of the main stages of the country's history.

At the end of the event, the director of the school, Niyara Nadyrova, expressed to the staff of the military department for fruitful cooperation and active contribution to the patriotic education of the younger generation.
