An important meeting in the framework of international cooperation

On November 24, 2025, the Department of Linguistic and General Educational Training of Foreign Citizens of the Faculty of Pre-University Education at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held an important and relevant meeting within the framework of international cooperation, dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Department and as part of Social Project No. 17: "Strengthening the means of implementation and revitalizing the global partnership for sustainable development," which covers the direction of the "Sustainable Development Goals." The meeting was attended by representatives from Lanzhou University and the Confucius Institute, as well as foreign students. This gathering made a significant contribution to strengthening educational ties between the two countries.

At the session, the Head of the Department of Linguistic and General Educational Training of Foreign Citizens, Aitbayeva Bakhyt Manatkyzy, in her welcoming speech, introduced the audience in detail to the history of the Department and the Faculty, as well as their scientific, methodological, and educational work. During the meeting, the participants delivered interesting reports and shared their views. Furthermore, students received answers to their questions, and bilateral partnership in the fields of education and science was discussed. Joint plans were developed to achieve the set goals.
