Future Publishers Visit “ALMATY KITAP”

The students of the Faculty of Journalism at Al-Farabi KazNU, majoring in Publishing, together with Merеke Sabyrzhanova, a lecturer from the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, visited “ALMATY KITAP” publishing house.

    During the tour, the students observed how a book is created — from the initial idea and editing to printing and publication. The staff of the publishing house shared their experience, spoke about modern trends in the book industry, and showed the full production process from the inside.

    “This is very important for us — to see real publishing work and understand how professionals operate,” the students noted after the excursion.

     Such visits inspire future specialists, help them feel the spirit of the profession, and show that every book is the result of tremendous effort, creativity, and a true love for the written word.
