A.A. Adambekova, Doctor of Economics and Professor of the Management Department at the Higher School of Economics and Business at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, held a research seminar for first-year doctoral students. During the seminar, the doctoral students found out how doctoral candidates are assessed, how to choose a dissertation topic, what information should be disclosed in abstract , how to write a dissertation in general, and also received answers to many questions. We are confident that doctoral students participating in the upcoming seminar will demonstrate  their ability to conduct research, solve scientific problems, and analyze and apply the obtained data.
