Intensification of scientific cooperation with the National University of Uzbekistan

A delegation of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University headed by Chairman of the Board – Rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev visited the National University of Uzbekistan in Tashkent. The delegation was received by the rector of the National University of Uzbekistan Inom Mazhidov.

During the meeting, new stages of the long-term cooperation between the two universities were discussed, in particular, strategic directions implemented within the framework of the integration of science, education and production.

The meeting was held in a constructive manner, and the parties identified the next steps to strengthen cooperation between the two higher education institutions.

The parties stressed that the exchange of teaching staff, student mobility and joint scientific activities have significantly intensified in recent years. An agreement was reached to further expand cooperation in these areas.

During the conversation, the sides also discussed the expansion of joint scientific projects between the academies of the two states, the organization of an exchange of young scientists and researchers, and joint expeditions in priority areas such as archaeology, history, biology and geology.

The possibilities of joint scientific publications and conferences were also discussed.
