KazNU and a Singapore company are implementing digital projects

Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev received the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Singapore-based company AstraSec PTE Ltd. Frank Liu.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for strategic partnership and the development of cooperation between the university and an international company. Special attention was paid to the possibilities of implementing joint projects in the field of digital security, information technology and the introduction of innovative solutions.

Welcoming the guest of honor, Zhanseit Tuimebayev spoke about the university's scientific infrastructure and stressed KazNU's interest in expanding cooperation with universities and companies in Singapore. "I propose to open the AstraSec PTE Ltd. center on the basis of KazNU. Both sides have every opportunity to implement such an initiative. The Center will become a platform for joint training of highly qualified specialists and implementation of scientific innovation projects. Our university has a lot of experience in this area",- said the rector.

In turn, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AstraSec PTE Ltd. Frank Liu thanked for the hospitality and spoke about the company's activities. "Our company has been working in the field of technology for more than 20 years. We are interested in establishing a long-term partnership with KazNU. We support the initiative to open a university–based center",- said the head of the company.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their intention to strengthen cooperation and jointly implement specific projects.
