Each group gave examples of countries currently actively struggling to survive due to food shortages and the measures being taken to address global hunger.  The students presented  the examples of new greenhouse farms that utilize the latest advances in green energy to improve soil fertility, resulting in abundant annual harvests. In their presentations, they referred to   statistics from the UN. Each group also made  their own proposal for making soil more fertile in arid climates. During this event,  the students demonstrated their knowledge of the topic and their foreign language skills. Each participant was able to express their opinion on the issue in English, using the vocabulary and grammar they learned in English lessons.
