«Al-Farabi Week» – as a result of sustainable development

7 november, 2025

In 2025, students of the Faculty of Pre-University Education actively participated in the competition held within the framework of «Al-Farabi Week»  dedicated to the 1155th anniversary of the great figure of human civilization, the Second Teacher — Abu Nasir Al-Farabi. This competition corresponds to the university’s sustainable development goal: «Encouraging international students to conduct scientific research: preparing a presentation for the ‘World of Al-Farabi’ conference ».

During the week, students recited Al-Farabi’s aphorisms from memory and prepared special posters. Additionally, on the topic «AI and Al-Farabi» a special video featuring the scholar’s image was created using artificial intelligence. We believe that this week, organized to introduce Al-Farabi’s legacy to international students and enhance its relevance, will inspire them to participate actively in scientific work in the future.

At the end of the week, all participating students and academic supervisors received awards and special certificates on behalf of the dean of the faculty. We are confident that such cultural events, aimed at the development of our country and the promotion of national heritage, will help students quickly adapt to social life, learn languages more easily, and foster cooperation among students of different nationalities.
