SDG 4: The Preliminary Round of the “Sunkar Cup” KVN Games Took Place
The preliminary round of the “Sunkar Cup” KVN games was successfully held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, organized by the “Sunkar” Student and Graduate Trade Union. The main objective of the event was to foster creativity among students, strengthen teamwork, and enhance the cultural engagement of young people.
Eight teams participated in this long-standing competition, demonstrating their wit and acting skills:

The jury panel consisted of:

Erdos Oralbekov – Director of the KVN Branch of the Kazakhstan KVN Union in Almaty Region

Abilay Kasymov – Member of the National Team, 2014 Higher League Champion, author and scriptwriter
Faculty deans and senior curators attended as special guests, supporting the teams throughout the event.
The preliminary round consisted solely of the “Greeting” competition, in which participants presented humorous sketches on the topic of “Artificial Intelligence.” Each team showcased its unique style, creativity, and high level of preparation.
According to the jury’s decision, six teams advanced to the semi-finals of the Sunkar Cup KVN games, while two teams received special awards for their participation.
The administration of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University sincerely thanked all teams for their active participation and wished them success in the upcoming stages. The “Sunkar Cup” KVN games continue to play an important role in developing students’ creative potential and enriching the university’s cultural life.
