In accordance with Sustainable Development Goals No. 4 – “Quality Education,” No. 8 – “Decent Work and Economic Growth,” No. 11 – “Sustainable Cities and Communities,” and No. 17 – “Partnerships for the Goals,” a binary guest lecture was held on 28 November 2025 within the framework of the course “Labour Market in the Digital Economy.”
The guest speaker was the head of an accounting outsourcing company, experienced practitioner and specialist, Meruert Myrzashovna Akhmetova. She is a highly qualified accountant with more than 15 years of professional experience, having extensive cooperation with various pawnshop organizations, individual entrepreneurs, as well as entities operating in the formats of sole proprietorship (IE) and LLP.
Students of the educational program “6B04109 – Digital Economy” took part in the event. During the lecture, important topics were discussed, including mechanisms of state regulation, tax policy, legal and labour relations between employer and employee, methods of financial analysis, key requirements of the Tax Code, application of labour norms in the labour market, and the specifics of contractual relations.
The meeting was highly insightful. Students actively participated and asked questions of interest. Particular attention was drawn to the impact of the digital economy on accounting processes, the advantages of automation, and the importance of digital skills in today’s labour market.
The guest lecture made a significant contribution to expanding students’ professional perspectives and enhancing their practical knowledge.
