SDG 4: The “Dean’s Cup 2025” Mini-Football Tournament Was Successfully Held

With the support of Beisen Nurzada Abdibekkyzy, Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Technology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, and organized by the “Sunkar” Student and Graduate Trade Union, the traditional “Dean’s Cup 2025” mini-football tournament was held at a high level.

Active student teams from the faculty participated in the tournament, demonstrating their athletic skills, team spirit, and tactical strategies. The matches were engaging and competitive, with participants showcasing fair play and camaraderie.

The winners of the tournament were determined as follows:

• 1st place – “Brigada” team (prize: 20,000 KZT)

• 2nd place – “Barys” team (prize: 15,000 KZT)

• 3rd place – “ASTRA” team (prize: 10,000 KZT)

During the event, teams were awarded special letters of appreciation and prizes from the Dean and organizers. The tournament’s organization aimed to increase students’ interest in sports, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and enhance the cultural and athletic life of the university.
