SDG №4: The “Sunkar Cup–2025” Mini-Football Tournament Held at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology

At the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the “Sunkar Cup–2025” mini-football tournament was successfully organized by the “Sunkar” Student and Master’s Trade Union Bureau. The main purpose of the event was to promote a healthy lifestyle, ensure the effective use of students’ free time, and strengthen team spirit within the faculty.

Teams composed of students from different years and master’s students took part in the tournament, demonstrating intense and engaging matches. Participants showcased a high level of preparation, agility, and tactical coordination on the field, creating an energetic and enjoyable atmosphere for spectators. Each match was held in a spirit of fair competition, highlighting students’ enthusiasm and active involvement in sports.

Based on the results of the tournament, the winning teams were determined as follows:

1st place – “3rd-year Students” team (prize: 10,000 KZT)
2nd place – “4th-year Students” team (prize: 10,000 KZT)
3rd place – “Master’s Students” team (prize: 10,000 KZT)

At the end of the tournament, the winning and runner-up teams received special certificates and awards from the organizers. The event not only increased students’ interest in sports but also strengthened the atmosphere of unity and friendship within the faculty.
