SDG No. 4: The “Farabi GreenCampus: Clean University” Environmental Youth Forum Was Held

25 november, 2025

As part of the national campaign “Clean Kazakhstan,” Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the environmental youth forum “Farabi GreenCampus: Clean University.” The event aimed to bring together active students from five university faculties to jointly promote and develop ecological initiatives.

The primary goal of the forum was to enhance environmental awareness among young people, support “green” ideas within the university campus, and strengthen public engagement in fostering eco-consciousness.

On the first day, the forum was held in the format of faculty-level selections. Participants presented their projects, research developments, and practical ecological initiatives. Authors of the best works identified during the selection phase delivered presentations and showcased their projects on the final day of the forum.

Based on the results, the best projects and their authors—who made a significant contribution to promoting environmental culture—were identified within the framework of the “Farabi GreenCampus: Clean University” forum:
