KazNU Hosts the Event “Support for Social Entrepreneurship and Startups” within SDG 1
On November 28, 2025, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted an offline event titled “Support for Social Entrepreneurship and Startups” within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 1 – No Poverty. The event was aimed at increasing students’ socio-economic engagement and supporting their future professional development.
The purpose of the event was to explain the role of networking in students’ professional and personal development, to develop effective communication and relationship-building skills, to provide practical recommendations, to expand career opportunities, and to encourage an active social position.
The event was held in the format of a small seminar with the participation of Damir Amanzholov. As part of the program, the speaker delivered a motivational presentation, analyzed practical case studies on personal branding and professional networking, and conducted a question-and-answer session, interactive discussions, and open networking among students.
The event was attended by 70 students majoring in Management, 5 faculty members, and 2 external participants. As a result, indicators of partnership and collaboration were strengthened, contributing positively to the improvement of education quality at the university and the competitiveness of its graduates.
