Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with a delegation of the Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language headed by Rector Nikita Gusev.
During the negotiations, the parties signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation. The new document opens up new opportunities for the further development of partnerships. To date, KazNU and the Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language have maintained cooperation and implemented joint projects. In the future, the parties will exchange scientists, share library resources, and conduct scientific research in the field of philology.
Zhanseit Tuimebayev acquainted the guest of honor with the latest achievements of KazNU and noted that the university's cooperation with Russian universities is actively developing. The Rector also suggested organizing joint symposiums, conferences and meetings.
In turn, Nikita Gusev, Rector of the Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language, expressed gratitude to the KazNU staff for the warm welcome and supported all the initiatives announced. "We are interested in intensifying cooperation with KazNU. I am confident that the memorandum signed today will raise our partnership to a new level. We invite students and teachers of KazNU to take part in the summer school held on the basis of our institute. This will be a good opportunity to share experiences. In addition, our institute will celebrate its 60th anniversary next year, and we will be glad to see the KazNU delegation at the anniversary scientific conference",- said the guest of honor.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of expanding academic ties and strengthening joint research activities.
