“AI-based Startups: Opening the Way to a New Market”

On December 5, 2025, 10:00 a.m., Room 310 at  the Faculty of Philology, a round table was held with first-year students of the faculty, organized by the lecturers of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory: G.T. Ospanova, L.A. Mekebayeva, and S.K. Kussanov, on the topic “AI-based Startups: Opening the Way to a New Market” within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal No. 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.

The event was attended by:
– Akhmetovich Azamat Khokhlov, Deputy Director of the Center for Technology Commercialization and Creative Industry;
– Asel Zhanbolatkyzy Kenzhetai, Project Manager of the Center for Technology Commercialization and Creative Industry.

Asel Zhanbolatkyzy provided students with comprehensive information about startups and sparked their interest in the field.

In addition, presentations were given by A. Serikbayeva, a second-year student of the specialty “6B01701 – Kazakh Language and Literature” and the startup winner of the 2024–2025 academic year, as well as by the project supervisor, PhD, Acting Associate Professor G.T. Ospanova.

Students’ questions were answered. The students shared their thoughts and expressed suggestions and wishes.

This round table offered students much to reflect on and greatly stimulated their interest.
