Outstanding Reviewer of KazNU Received Elsevier Award

Reviewers of the scientific journals of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University indexed in the Scopus database have been honored with a prestigious award from the international publisher Elsevier.

          As one of the world’s leading academic publishers, Elsevier annually recognizes outstanding experts who have made significant contributions to the development and quality improvement of scientific journals. In 2025, two Scopus-indexed journals of KazNU — Physical Sciences and Technology and the International Journal of Mathematics and Physics — received high international recognition. Reviewers of these journals were awarded the honorary title of “Outstanding Reviewer.”

          The reviewer of the “International Journal of Mathematics and Physics” (Scopus) in the Mathematics section — PhD, Professor of the Department of Mechanics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Erzhan Belyaev, received special recognition.

          This award represents international acknowledgment of the high professionalism and long-term dedication of reviewers who play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and scientific value of Scopus-indexed journals.
