On December 5, 2025, second-year students of the specialty “Accounting and Audit”, together with their advisor, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Finance and Accounting, Zh.K. Kalymbekova, visited the Almaty Museum of Arts as a cultural institution preserving the historical heritage and values of our country.
The экскурсия enabled students to take a fresh look at the connection between history, economics, and the accounting of material resources. Students observed how economic transactions were recorded in different historical periods, how archives, valuables, and documents were preserved — elements that form the foundation of modern accounting and auditing practices.
The museum visit broadened students’ horizons, strengthened their interest in the profession, and demonstrated that accounting is not only about numbers, but also about preserving the material and cultural wealth of society.
The event was held in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:
SDG 4 — “Quality Education”
SDG 11 — “Sustainable Cities and Communities”
