The sphere of legal education will expand

A meeting with representatives of Peking University and Beijing justice authorities was held at the Law Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

In turn, Hao Rongdong, Director of the Political Affairs Department of the Beijing Municipal Administration of Justice, and Tang Jingnan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Faculty of Law of Peking University, shared ideas on expanding cooperation in the field of legal education and research.

Beijing University ranks 14th in the QS WUR ranking, 16th in THE WUR, and is the second largest university in the People's Republic of China.

The management and leading professors of the Faculty of Law of KazNU discussed new perspectives and joint scientific initiatives in the field of jurisprudence.

During the meeting, the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University signed a cooperation agreement with the Institute of Law of Peking University and the Beijing Municipal Administration of Justice. The document provides for the exchange of students, joint scientific research, the implementation of international projects and the expansion of opportunities in the development of educational programs in the field of law.

After the official part, the guests got acquainted with the activities of the Kazakh-Chinese Center for International and Comparative Law, the Farabi Hub innovation platform, the Center for Digital Technologies and Robotics, as well as the infrastructure of the Farabi Library. The delegation highly appreciated the scientific and digital base of the university.
