We are pleased to announce the opening of the Winter School season at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and invite you to participate in the International Winter Ethnographic School on the topic: “Current Issues in Ethnology (Socio-Cultural Anthropology): History and Modernity” with the following focus areas: «New research and directions in the development of ethnology and socio-cultural anthropology», «Studies of ethnological science in Kazakhstan in the context of global changes»

Objective: To expand and deepen the participants’ knowledge and skills in the field of ethnographic science, and to develop research competencies.

Speakers:
Scholars in the fields of ethnology and anthropology from Kazakhstan and abroad.

The International Winter Ethnographic School offers an excellent opportunity for students, master’s students, and young faculty members to gain new knowledge, exchange ideas, and acquire practical skills in their field.

Participants will have the opportunity to receive a Professional Development Certificate for 80 academic hours.
