An “Open Day” for students on the topic “The Importance of Master’s and Doctoral Studies” was held

The event organized with the participation of the Head of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics ZH.K.Zhunusbayeva, together with a first-year doctoral student of the “8D05104 – Genetics” program Araylym Erzhan Yergaliqyzy was held to explain the importance of master’s and doctoral programs to second-year students of our faculty. Department faculty members and senior students also attended the meeting. During the event, participants received comprehensive information about the advantages of postgraduate education, current scientific directions, and opportunities for academic career development. This event aligns directly with SSG 4 "Quality Education".

The faculty emphasized that master’s studies not only provide in-depth theoretical training but also develop essential research skills. In addition, the discussion covered participation in scientific projects, publication activities, and the role of international academic mobility programs.

Overall, the meeting enhanced students’ interest in scientific work and positively influenced the planning of their future educational trajectory.
