Digital methods of fighting corruption are considered
The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the forum "Digital Development and AI: new opportunities for creating an honest society", organized by the «Саналы ұрпақ» University student Club.
The event was attended by activists of student organizations of KazNU named after al-Farabi, KazNPU named after Abai, KazNTU named after K.Satpayev, Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University, Turan University and other universities of the country.
The purpose of the forum is to discuss modern solutions that contribute to the formation of a selfless society, to present new technologies aimed at creating a society without corruption.
The event was opened by Board Member – Vice Rector for Sustainable and Social Development Bakytzhan Omarov, emphasizing the high importance of the forum. "The world is entering a new digital era, and artificial intelligence is no longer just a tool – it is radically changing society, the economy and the way of thinking. KazNU students actively participate in all actions, initiatives and projects – this is a great event for us and a direct contribution of the university to the development of digital culture. The University is always ready to support initiatives in the field of anti–corruption, artificial intelligence and digital development",- said the Vice Rector.
The forum was also attended by Serikbai Nurgisayev, Advisor to the Rector, Ilyas Begemov, Chief Specialist of the Compliance Control Service, Asem Shormakova, Head of the Department of Information Systems, Yerbolat Turlan, coordinator of the city volunteer project "Against Corruption", Ayaulym Ernatkyzy, Chairman of the Sanaly Urpak student Club, and others.
During the forum, a discussion was held, during which participants exchanged ideas and suggested ways to solve issues related to the use of digital tools and artificial intelligence in the formation of an honest society free from corruption.
The forum resulted in specific proposals from the participants aimed at increasing the activity of young people in the development of artificial intelligence and digitalization technologies.
