On November 30, Argynbek Qunanbaiuly, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Linguistics named after A. Baitursynuly at the Faculty of Philology, delivered a lecture titled “Abai and Us” in Astana at the invitation of the OyOrda community. The event was attended by thoughtful readers of the capital — from aspiring applicants and motivated students to dedicated researchers. The lecture explored Abai’s spiritual concepts, the sources of his philosophical teachings, and their connection to the modern era. As part of OyOrda Talks, nearly 80 participants took part in an educational quiz, a Q&A session, and contests related to national clothing. The lecture evolved into an engaging conversation enriched with heartfelt reflections and musical performances.
