A SDG-related lecture delivered by the faculty of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics

In connection with the relevance of the topic “New and Emerging Technologies in Molecular Medicine” to modern assisted reproductive technologies, an overview lecture for master’s students of the educational program “7M05119 – Reproductive Genetics” was delivered on December 10 in room 418 in the format of an interactive lecture-discussion. The session was conducted jointly by the faculty members of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, A. I. Zhusupova and A. K. Kuanbay. The purpose of the lecture was to enhance students’ awareness of current methods in molecular medicine aimed at improving the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of socially significant diseases. Special emphasis was placed on the possibilities and application of assisted reproductive technologies (ART) for overcoming various forms of infertility. The event aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 “Good Health and Well-Being”, contributing to the development of key competencies among future specialists in reproductive genetics.
