KazNU awarded the winners of the "Best in Profession – 2025" competition among university employees.
The traditional event dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan summed up the results by identifying the best employees of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Yerkin Duissenov, Deputy Chairman of the Board and First Vice–Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, addressed the participants with a congratulatory speech. Congratulating the winners, he noted: "Today we honor those who, through their hard work, professionalism and dedication, make an invaluable contribution to the development of our university. Your achievements are an example for colleagues and an incentive for new achievements. May the award become not only a recognition of merit, but also an incentive for new achievements!"
Chairman of the Parasat trade union Talgat Mekebayev joined the congratulations, thanking the winners for their hard work and high responsibility.
The award ceremony was accompanied by the screening of videos about the winners.
This year, 16 representatives of the faculty of the University were awarded, including Bagila Abdumaulenova (Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology), Anar Suleimenova (Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management), Mahabbat Almukhanova (Faculty of Journalism), Aliya Polatbekova (Faculty of Pre-university Education), Ayaulym Zhakypbekova (Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics), Madina Sanatova (Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence), Raykhan Nussupova (Faculty of Oriental Studies), Dina Sadykova (Faculty of International Relations), Eskendir Ashimov (Faculty of Physics and Technology), Almira Kurbanova (Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology), Aykorkem Adilova (Faculty of Law), Aigerim Alimkanova (Faculty of History), Assel Ongarova (Faculty of Philology), Ayazhan Seitnur (Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science), Saule Tompakova (Higher School of Economics and Business), Dana Kulbek (Faculty of Medicine and Public Health).
Further, the awarding of department employees took place. They included: Roman Ermakov (Department of Information Technology), Dinara Mirzaliyeva (Department of Academic Affairs), Sherkhan Abshe (Department of Information and Communications), Sveta Amzeeva, Saule Batyrkhanova, Gulchat Igenbayeva (Department of Production Support), Madina Umbet (Educational Process Control Service), Meyrkul Shomayeva (Farabi Library), Asia Bekzhanova (Department of Science and Innovation).
The event continued with a festive concert prepared by active students of the ART Center.
