Preparing Competitive Logistics Specialists in High Demand on the Labor Market.

On November 27–28, 2025, instructors from the Department of Business Technologies conducted a free training course titled “Preparing Competitive Logistics Specialists in High Demand on the Labor Market.” The course was organized as part of the implementation of SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, which highlights transport and logistics as vital arteries for sustainable infrastructure development and industrialization.
Representatives of the domestic logistics company EXIM KZ—from senior management to managers, marketers, and logisticians—took an active part in the event. They demonstrated strong interest in the course topics, which was reflected in their energetic engagement with case studies and in-depth discussions.

Collaboration with the university is mutually beneficial due to close ties with employers: curricula and professional training programs are developed and updated based on their needs, while learning outcomes are clearly defined through a comprehensive graduate profile with a specific set of competencies. As part of the program, participants studied modern approaches to supply chain management, digital transformation of logistics processes, the implementation of sustainable practices, and the use of innovative infrastructure solutions.
Thus, the event underscored the growing business demand for professionals who possess not only academic knowledge but also practical skills honed through internships and real-world problem-solving.
