The Final Attestation of Doctoral Students of the Department of Sociology and Social Work Has Been Completed at KazNU

On December 10, the Department of sociology and social work of the Faculty of philosophy and political science at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University completed the final attestation of 1st–3rd year doctoral students.

During the meeting, the department’s faculty members and academic supervisors reviewed the doctoral students’ reports on the work completed on their dissertations in accordance with their individual plans, and familiarized themselves with the results of their progress in the doctoral educational program for the reporting period.

All doctoral students successfully passed the attestation procedure, demonstrating a high level of research culture, a systematic approach, and the practical relevance of their studies.

Special recognition was given to Sholpan Primbetova, a 1st-year doctoral student of the “Social Work” educational program, who demonstrated outstanding results in her research activities. As of today, her Hirsch index is 14, which is a significant indicator of her publication activity and scholarly impact. Her academic supervisor is Professor Abdiraiymova G.S., Head of the department of sociology and social work.
