Al-Farabi KazNU HSEB student Oraz Emirhan has become the champion of the IMMAF-2025 Asian Championship.
The Asian MMA Championship was held in Jounieh, Lebanon, bringing together more than 400 athletes from 20 countries. In this major tournament featuring three age categories, the Kazakhstan national team once again proved its dominance and secured first place in the team standings for the 11th consecutive time.
A total of 37 athletes accredited by the Unified MMA Federation of Kazakhstan represented the country, and 31 of them returned home with trophies, demonstrating a high level of preparation and superiority in their weight classes.
A special source of pride for our university community is Oraz Emirhan, a first-year Marketing student at the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi KazNU. He won the gold medal in the 74.8 kg weight class among 18–20-year-old juniors, making a significant contribution to the team’s success. This victory is a vivid testament to his strong athletic potential.
