Scientific seminar of PhD candidate Khamit N. within the framework of SDG 11.
One of the key Sustainable Development Goals is to ensure that cities and human settlements are inclusive, safe, resilient, and environmentally sustainable. Achieving this objective requires the development of urban infrastructure, optimization of transportation systems, and reduction of environmental impact. This topic was covered during the discussion of the scientific seminar of Khamit N., a PhD candidate of the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics.

During the seminar, particular attention was given to the expansion of the Almaty metro system as an environmentally friendly mode of public transportation. The metro serves as an essential tool for managing passenger flows efficiently, reducing traffic congestion, and lowering harmful emissions.
Sustainable transport infrastructure is fundamental to creating a safe and comfortable urban environment. We support the development of accessible, environmentally responsible, and resilient urban spaces for all residents.
