A curated open lesson was held on the topic "Independence is the main value"
On December 12, 2025, the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Development, together with 2nd-year students of the specialty "Environmental Protection and Life Safety," held a curator-led open class titled "Independence – the Core Value," dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was organized under the guidance of Aigul Dikhanbaevna Baibotayeva.

December 16 is the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This date holds special and profound significance for students:
Learning about the history of independence and understanding the importance of living in a free country enhances the patriotic spirit of young people. Through the events of December 16, students gained awareness of the nation's struggle for sovereignty and developed a sense of historical consciousness. Realizing that independence was not easily achieved, they developed a deeper understanding of their civic duty and came to value freedom, justice, and unity as fundamental principles.
