Second-year students of the “Meteorology” educational program from the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited the newly opened Almaty Museum of Arts, located on Al-Farabi Avenue, where they explored various forms of contemporary art.
The new Almaty Museum of Arts has become a vibrant cultural space in the city. Its exhibitions combine elements of classical and modern art, with each piece standing out through its concept and emotional depth. While touring the halls, the students were able to view art from a new perspective, discovering the symbolism behind shapes and colors. Installations dedicated to nature and human emotions left a particularly strong impression.
Museum staff provided fascinating information about the history of the artworks, the creative vision of the authors, and current trends in contemporary art. The visit broadened the students’ worldview and enhanced their aesthetic appreciation.
For the students, the museum trip became an opportunity to enrich themselves spiritually, gain inspiration, and experience art on a deeper level.
