IV International Online Student Forum of Japanologists

On December 10, the IV International Online Student Forum of Japanologists was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Holding the forum in December has become a good tradition among universities: it initially began with four participating universities, but this year two more countries joined.

The forum participants included:
– Baku State University (Azerbaijan)
– Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (Turkey)
– Moscow City University (Russia)
– University of Tehran (Iran)
– Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Kazakhstan)

The theme of the forum was “How AI is Changing Japanese Learning”

Fourth-year students of the Japanese Studies Department, Department of Far East, took part in the event. The first part of the forum consisted of presentations by each university, and the second part was a discussion session. Our students presented on the topic “Artificial Intelligence: Challenges, Risks, and the Future.” After the presentations, students asked questions, gave comments, and discussed each group’s topic.
