KazNU launched the international science festival "SCIENCE 0+"
The international science festival "SCIENCE 0+" has started at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The important event is aimed at the wide popularization of science, the formation of a culture of scientific thinking in society, as well as increasing the interest of young people in science, innovation and high-tech industries.

The festival, held at the Farabi HUB Science Center on the university campus, was organized with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, as well as the organizing committee of the BRICS+ Open Science Week in Kazakhstan.

The event was actively attended by university teachers, young scientists and students.

An interactive exhibition was organized for visitors, demonstrating the latest achievements of Russian science, education and technology. Innovative projects and scientific developments in the fields of agriculture, energy, space, medicine, biotechnology and nuclear technologies are presented here.

In addition, scientific demonstrations, practical workshops, educational lectures, intellectual quizzes and discussion platforms are held within the framework of the festival. These events are aimed at presenting scientific discoveries in a simple and accessible format, as well as demonstrating the importance of science in everyday life.

It should be noted that the international science festival SCIENCE 0+ is one of the world's largest educational projects promoting science. The festival is considered a significant event within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology, announced by the President of the Russian Federation. In 2025, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University became the general partner of this international festival in Kazakhstan, contributing to the promotion of achievements of national science at the international level.

The festival is scheduled to run for two days.
